Cade Cunningham will be the freshman of the year this upcoming college basketball season. He’s the most talented player in the country & will dominate on both ends for Oklahoma.
The Cowboys aren’t tournament eligible, but that doesn’t matter sometimes it’s clear who’s the best player in the country and that is him.
What Makes Him A Stud?
Big strong guards & playmaking forwards who can defend multiple positions are insanely valuable in NBA history. Ben Simmons, LeBron James, Scottie Pippin & Grant hill to name a few. Cade fits that mold. Offensively, he has great strength, can post the mismatches, quick first step, great finisher, good IQ, & good mechanics on his Jump shot. Most, importantly he’s a good playmaker too, which is why he will be the primary ball handler for the Cowboys.
Defensively, he takes pride on that side of the ball which isn’t seen in many young players. The Size & Strength is there so he can defend multiple positions. Very active with his hands defensively, and crashes the boards defensively. The defensive upside of Cade will be on full display this upcoming season & you heard it here first.
Any other potential player of the years?
