Top class of 2025 prospect Jamal Brown made his 757 Youth Basketball Summer League debut this past week, displaying that type of skills that make him one the premiere middle school prospects in the country. Brown finished with a double-double in Team UNO’s win over 757 Elite, despite playing up in the Junior Division.

757 Elite is an upstart program coming off the heels of a USA Basketball national championship in 2017. Rising sophomore Montae Wilson finished with a team-high 15 points for 757 Elite in a losing effort. Team UNO also got nine points from another class of 2025 prospect, Carmelo Swinson. But it was Brown who stole the show once again.

WAG-G Elite also made their season debut on Monday, putting in a dominant effort against the Uptown Grizzlies to secure a 38-26 win. It was a balanced scoring effort for WAG-G Elite, who had seven players contribute on the offensive end

The first thing you notice about WAG-G Elite is the size of their frontcourt. But it is the play of the team’s backcourt that will truly separate this ballclub as it moves forward. Grizzlies guard Antori Newkirk scored a team-high eight points.

The Norfolk Dynasty secured the first win of league play, defeating BWSL Red Tide 26-15. Carmelo Layne earned Player of the Game honors, finishing with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Layne, has quietly improved each game since making his season debut, leading the Dynasty in scoring in the team’s past two games.

Here is the look at Wednesday night’s schedule:

Portsmouth City Blue Devils vs BWSL Red Tide, 6:30pm

Norfolk Dynasty vs Norfolk Titans, 7:30pm
