In a NCAA tournament matchup that featured a few memorable, “how did he make that” shots, the University of Virginia prevailed over Purdue to move on to the Final Four.

Despite a tournament-high 42 points from the Bolilermakers’ Carsen Edwards, UVA still had a chance to win or tie the ballgame with time running out in regulation. A last-second jump shot by
Mamadi Diakite sent the game into overtime, leading to an eventual extra session win for the Cavaliers.

All-ACC guard Kyle Guy led the Cavaliers with 25 points. UVA will face Auburn in next Saturday’s Final Four.
